What do video and photography have in common?
Colour Correcting! (Well, actually they have a lot in common, but this is my favourite similarity.) Creating beautiful video is one of my specialties and whether I am doing it for a documentary, a wedding video, or corporate client, I believe it’s incredibly important to have excellent colour correcting skills. This is the same in the photography world. In a prefect world footage would be just that – perfect. My job it to make it perfect when it’s complete. Bellow is an example from a video I edited for a client. The original is blue and unnatural, however after some fine tuning the end product looks natural and vibrant.
